OUR AIM is to distribute old traditional open pollinated varieties of vegetable seed, preferably old Australian varieties and organically or bio-dynamically grown where possible.

We believe they are more nutritious and better tasting, hardy and easier to grow for the home gardener. Old varieties produce over an extended period. Home gardeners obtain relaxation, enjoyment and quality from a most rewarding hobby.


Our seeds are the old traditional open pollinated non-hybrid varieties and have no chemical treatment, and no genetic engineering.

Sunhaven
A Rudolf Steiner Centre supporting individuals with special needs

    A percentage of our profit goes to support Sunhaven. Eden Seeds and Select Organic are grateful for your help which enables us to support the establishment of Curative Education and Social Therapy programs initiated by Sunhaven.
    Already seven staff are employed part-time by Sunhaven to establish an Australian Disability Enterprise. Work has commenced on collating brochures and mail-outs as well as packing for Eden Seeds.
   Sunhaven has linked with Australian Red Cross to provide Certificate II for Cabinet Making and employs four staff using recycled building materials.
   Weekend and vacation respite for families commenced in mid 2010.

Joseph's Woodworks

Recycled solid timber furniture & building materials.
Joseph’s Woodworks is one of the activities of Sunhaven employing several cabinet making graduate students. They make useful small furniture & also offer a wide range recycled building materials.

All timbers used are recycled from salvaged demolition sites mostly from south-east Queensland. Visit the new website at: www.recycled-timber.com.au
